Well, there’s a loaded question.
And one that has been on the mind of humankind for as long as recorded history remembers.
First off, where exactly do I mean by here? Here on planet earth? Here in this physical reality? Here in the modern era? The answer is pretty much, D. all of the above.
One of the major pieces of the puzzle that has been left out, perhaps due to humanity not seeing it as important, is consciousness. The fact that we are conscious and aware, an observer able to distinguish between the thoughts inside our heads versus the words we speak aloud, is an incredible miracle in itself.
So why is mainstream science only now (in the last thirty years or so) starting to seriously take consciousness into the question? We’ve been aware of the role an observer plays in the creation of matter since the early 1900s, only instead of embracing that theory and wandering further down the rabbit hole, we chalked it up as unexplainable, even going so far as to nickname the nonlocality aspect of entangled particles “spooky action.” That’s quantum mechanics for you.
But quantum theory actually makes a ton of sense when you look at it from a biocentric point of view. Biocentrism is the belief that life is centered around consciousness, that all of this, the environment, all matter, animal species, etc., stemmed from the conscious observer’s interaction with it. And doesn’t wave-particle theory within quantum mechanics show that the role an observer plays (the experimental circumstances) affect the outcome of said experiment? Or in simpler terms, when a wave of light is observed, it transforms from possibility to matter (makes a decision), whereas if the wave is unobserved, it will remain a possibility and seemingly commit to two separate outcomes, creating an interference pattern. This has been tested time and time again with the double-slit experiments, and is scientific proof that, at a subatomic level, the way matter actually operates challenges our current understanding of reality.
Going back to the question at hand, how did we get here? Yes here, to this exact moment, living on a planet full of people, technology, cities, and war. How is that we are existing in this physical world?
I’m going to walk you through my humble take on the matter, with a side caveat that all of my thoughts are purely that: thoughts and theories. Ideas that swim around and solidify when enough experiments produced by other incredible human beings mix with experiences and self-realizations I have in my own meditations. I’m sure there are plenty of details that I’ve got wrong or need to be tweaked, but at the heart of what I’m about to share, I feel in my core, is how reality functions.
The staple of my theories begins with all life being connected. All consciousness, for that is the meat-and-potatoes of what I refer to as life, is connected. This divine intelligence, a conscious God-like substance, exists but not on a plane or manner that we can easily comprehend. It exists in a soupy pool on a layer of reality that has no material shape or form. It comes from a realm of pure divine light and intelligence.
This divinity exists simply because it does, because there’s no other explanation. Consciousness exists, and where it came from or how it came to be, we cannot understand on this level of reality. We can feel its truth and be transformed by the power of accepting that truth, but the human brain and thought cannot interpret consciousness beyond that. At least not yet.
Who knows how long this divine intelligence existed before interacting with the first waves of possibility. All I can theorize is that, in some manner, potential waves of possibilities burst into light photons as consciousness observed and intermingled with them, and thus the first subatomic bits of matter came into existence. This happened at a microscopic level – so small and tiny that if a human had been around to witness it, there would have been nothing to see with the naked eye.
For a long period of time, millions of years, or billions of years even, this consciousness continued to interact with waves and produce subatomic particles. If we look at the theories on how our planet earth actually formed (the science of it), we see that the universe began at a volume smaller than an atom’s nucleus before it began expanding. Particles started materializing, coming seemingly from ‘pure energy’, eventually combining into pairs and triplets to form the first larger particles. So what is that ‘pure energy’ that forced matter to spontaneously combust into existence?
My answer: consciousness! The conscious-soup that was and is floating around in another dimension of reality.
Anyway, the first atoms that formed from this particle pairing were mostly hydrogen, with some helium and lithium. Combined with gravity pulling them to a common center, hydrogen atoms clumped together to create stars. Stars are thought to be the first massive matter that existed in the universe. Through nuclear fusion, they grew and evolved over millions of years, with hydrogen at the core, converting to helium, then carbon, then neon, then on to oxygen, etc. until the first twenty-six elements were brought into existence, usually within the star’s first life cycle.
Once a star starts producing iron, it is the furthest nuclear fusion can take it. And once iron starts filling the core, the nuclear reactions that create an outward push against gravity pulling the mass inward, stops, and only gravity is left, pulling the star inward to collapse and explode into a supernova. As stars formed and exploded, they spewed elements – carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, etc. – into ‘the space’ around, allowing other elements to collide and clump and create new elements.
My thoughts are that consciousness played a key role in the formation of these very first subatomic particles, that then evolved into particles, then elements, and eventually molecules. Consciousness was the reactor that forced matter to materialize, and as consciousness caused these bits of matter to form, it needed a way to ‘see the data,’ in a manner of speaking.
And now comes in my theories about the holographic universe. So remember how all consciousness/life is connected? I believe that part of this consciousness/life is integrated into every single bit of matter, whether its a single subatomic particle or a clumped collection of atoms that form a star. Consciousness exists within all things, and it began at the microscopic level, invisible, preceding the physical layer as we know it.
But, as matter began to advance, the divine intelligence that is consciousness, formulated a way to visualize what was happening. All these waves of possibility that sprang into matter are visually seen the same way a piece of holographic film is illuminated by a laser to produce a virtual image of the pre-recorded interference waves. Or put simply, the physical representation of millions of hydrogen atoms clumping together to form a star is merely a 3D virtual rendering of what those waves were recorded as when they interacted with consciousness. The “star” doesn’t actually exist physically; it is a hologram.
There is a lot of scientific proof that our brain and bodies operate like a hologram. The fact that people with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), also known as having multiple personalities, can switch personalities and alter allergies, medical needs, and even physical wounds, shows that the body is actually quite malleable (read some stories on this if you don’t believe me). The brain and thought override what’s physically present, because all of what we see is actually a hologram.
I won’t go into the science so much in this post, but some of the ways the brain acts like a hologram include: 1. Associative memory (there is a holographic technique that allows a single laser to bounce off two objects, and collide the interference pattern onto film. When one image is illuminated by a laser light and passed through the film, the second object appears. This is why we can see one object or place and it reminds us of another object that we once saw with the first). 2. Recognizing familiar things/faces, (recognition holography allows a film to be made that when a second image is bounced off the developed film, a bright point will appear larger and brighter on similar objects/images. This is why we can remember faces and places we have seen before). 3. Recognizing differences (interference holography shows that when an object is viewed through a film containing its image, the light will reflect differently on any piece of the image that is different from the present object. This is why we can point out differences of a person or object, particularly if its been several years since seeing them and the changes are more drastic). 4. Photographic memories (images stored on holographic films get hazier as they get smaller but people with these type of memories can access larger regions of their memory holograms). 5. Transference of learned skills (the brain converts all of its memories and learned abilities into interference wave forms. Once the brain converts it into wave language, it can view that object/ability from any perspective and perform the learned ability at any time and this is why we have no problem learning and remember skills/abilities).
When we combine the scientific reality of how holograms operate with the fact that 99.9999% of an atom (and therefore 99.99999% of all things), are empty space, we finally begin to understand how consciousness plays a key role in creating physical reality. Our brain interprets wave language to produce physical matter that is merely a virtual representation of what has been previously recorded, or is being currently recorded, by consciousness in the soup-of-life filmstrip. It’s like we are creating our own movie as we live in it!
If you’re having trouble understanding this, take for example how our eyesight works. When you look at something, say a tree, you perceive it as ‘out there’, as separate from yourself. However, the tree is really just our brain interpreting the waves recorded on the universe’s holographic film, which produces a visual representation using our retinas to give the tree an appearance that it is out there, but it actually only exists within your brain. Your brain creates the appearance of the tree, and without your conscious interaction, that tree would not ‘appear’ to be standing there. It would simply be waves on the holographic filmstrip of life.
So now that you understand what I’m writing about is truly mind-boggling stuff, let’s continue on the journey of how we evolved to here – to this advanced and complex physical world.
As these wave-particles interacted with consciousness to produce larger and larger bits, from subatomic particles to atoms, then molecules, they got recorded on this universal filmstrip (a filmstrip that contains the wave patterns for everything that ever has and ever will exist). Then, consciousness turned the wave patterns on that filmstrip into a physical manifestation of objects, places, and things i.e. it created a holographic representation. This happened very slowly, likely over billions of years, and as atoms evolved into molecules and eventually cells, the physical world got significantly more advanced. What started as particles floating around in space converted to stars, then rock mass, and eventually planets, all with the help of divine intelligence.
However, consciousness had to divide itself up while on the physical plane. See, while technically everything we see is a hologram, it is also real. When you touch a tree, its technically just the electrons in your hand repelling the electrons in the tree that creates the sensation of touch (even if there’s actually still space between the objects however microscopic), but that sensation very much exists. Your brain interprets it as so and that is what allows us to enjoy this physical life. But in order for consciousness to be a part of every single particle, atom, element, cell and microbial organism, it had to appear in separate forms on the physical plane. This is why, for example, we can feel and intuitively know when something tragic happens to people that are near and dear to our hearts; because at the core the same conscious life-energy exists inside all of us and we can use it to communicate on an energetic level.
So, we are at the phase where planet earth is in formation, and the first cellular organisms are appearing. Consciousness was ready to progress itself beyond still-objects like rocks; it finally evolved enough that now it could move, grow, and replicate itself in the physical world, to continue becoming more and more advanced (just like a game, divine intelligence constantly wants to up its level). And as we know from the life cycle of a cell, cells are constantly evolving and finding more efficient manners to consume energy and replicate. It is hardwired into a biological cell to reproduce, and to alter itself on the next go-round for better survival. So consciousness continued with these life-cycle journeys, birthing as new cells that would inevitably run their course of physical existence and die, in which instance the consciousness from that now-decomposing life form would integrate back into the soup of divine intelligence in the immaterial realm, only to rebirth and remerge as another new cell or organism.
And on and on the life-cycle of reincarnation continued for billions of years as life evolved from single-cell and microbial organisms to more complex organisms such as fungus and the first plants. The same cycle repeating, but the physical manifestations were constantly growing and changing to better fit the environment that was created by consciousness too! This conscious divine intelligence essentially found a way to create its own playground and experiment with what would happen. Eventually, this led to the formation of the first animal organisms and creatures that could access the consciousness within themselves, i.e. be aware of their physical selves, although it wasn’t until humans finally evolved out of this process that consciousness found a manifestation that could truly comprehend the magnitude of what it had created.
With physical reality being a hologram, in the beginning stages of animals and humanity, we existed in a malleable sort of ‘dreamtime,’ like the aborigines called it. Consciousness is extremely connected to the natural world, and the physical forms it inhabited could alter and create their reality, changing physical conditions and manifestations as it pleased them. The world existed in a pleasant sort of oneness, with consciousness intertwined with nature and treating the physical world as what it was: a place to play and create and grow itself through love. This was the true heaven on earth scenario that we must get back to.
But as humanity continued to advance, we fell away from our connection to the conscious divine intelligence. The brain and thought and madness that exists inside all of us became more and more prevalent. We started focusing more on the material world, on believing that this physical existence is the true reality, even though this perception is extremely limited. We severed our connection to the holographic filmstrip, and our ability to easily alter matter. Essentially, humanity conditioned our own minds to create order and structure, and change the fluid, flowing nature of conscious life into rigid and organized rules. Humans were some of the first creatures that were aware of consciousness and the big I Am (that we are the observer, the soul, the consciousness and not the physical body we inhabit), only instead of perpetuating this truth, we decided to hide it.
As we are all connected, humanity’s collective thoughts and beliefs can and do shape physical reality, and this is as true today as it was when this layer of reality was first created. We, as a collective society, conditioned ourselves to believe that cuts and wounds take time to heal instead of (as I believe it used to be) being able to heal on immediate thought. We conditioned ourselves to believe that all people are separate and cannot communicate with each other except through written or spoken language. We conditioned ourselves to believe that we need food and water to keep our bodies alive, when in actuality our bodies are merely a holographic image, and do not need anything other than thought to keep it healthy, alive, and functioning (read about Prahlad Jani if you doubt the truth behind this). We collectively conditioned physical matter to operate within a set of rules and guidelines that are so hardwired into society today that it’s no longer possible to change physical manifestations on a whim. We ‘lost’ connection to that ability thousands of years ago, and its about time we take our power back.
Consciousness is extremely powerful and it evolved into Human Beings so it could use thought to create the best physical reality possible. It was all, and is still, just a game! Only, the “human” part of the “being” messed everything up. Somewhere along the way, specific humans realized how powerful thought was, and began building separate nations and religious organizations to harness this power and direct it in a manner that would elicit control over mass populations. The leaders of these initial countries/groups used the collective thoughts of their followers to establish their hierarchy. People let their thoughts take over (instead of holding space and remembering that we are not our thoughts) which turned them away from the peaceful connection to consciousness. They let the importance of the material outweigh the importance of the immaterial. People chose to gobble up resources (instead of sharing everything) and exhibit power over one another (instead of living as equals) due to the madness of the mind that inevitably evolved as we became more complex creatures. The negative emotions and feelings that sprouted within humanity elicited fear, and fear led us down a dangerous path to living separately, with nations, and borders and war. This was the start of the “us” versus “them” mentality that has infected humanity. That way of thinking is a disease that purports the fallacy of the material world. And while tons of supernatural claims and unexplainable happenings, the placebo effect for example, are possible because of the holographic nature of our reality, in today’s society we are still too blind to accept it. The proof has always been here, but the masses continue to resist it, as people do, which reinforces a comfortable acceptance that the material world is true reality (spoiler alert: its not).
Slowly, we are waking up. Science is finally taking consciousness and the layers of reality into consideration, and it will be a complete game-changer once the mainstream masses accept what is actually true. Our collective thoughts and what we as societies and cultures believe as possible are more powerful than any other force. Right now there is mass fear and hysteria that has infected our collective consciousness. It has spilled over into genocides, wars, violence, and more pain than you could ever imagine. For centuries, humanity has fought itself, tearing each other and this material world apart, all because they were conditioned to believe in the us versus them mentality.
Do not fall victim to that line of thinking. Do not think of yourself as separate from your neighbors, from strangers, from animals, or even from the plants and rocks all around. We are all connected and part of one giant pool of conscious, divine intelligence. It exists inside me and you, and everything that we can touch or see, and that connection is the most powerful truth of our reality.
That is my version of how we got here. And the big question I have left is:
Where are we going next?
Until Next Time –
Yours for happy writing,
Lady Jenji
